GREAT NEWS FOR BORROWERS 

BFCU DEBIT CARDS ARE NOW TRUE DEBIT 

Members with Blackhawk Federal Credit Union Debit Cards (Check Cards) may now use their cards as either Debit or Credit.    

The change applies only to the processing and does not require a new card be issued.  With this improvement you will use your PIN (personal identification number) at both the ATM and Point of Sale (POS) merchants.  If you do not remember your PIN, at most merchants you can hit the cancel key and have the merchant/sales person select Credit rather than Debit. 

If you need to pick a new PIN number, simply contact the office for assistance. 

Members may have noticed posting of Debit card transactions and Share Drafts no longer post in the afternoon.  The automated processing happens in the evening.  With this, BFCU is no longer able to contact members to advise them of potential overdrafts.  We apologize for this, but again Home Banking will certainly help you handle your Share Draft.  Please feel free to contact us!
